Before teachers teach, teachers learn. This summer, like so many other summers in Rocket City, is still full steam ahead for Reeths-Puffer teachers as they continue to hone their craft and find new ways to bring our Rockets the best and brightest in education. Want to know what they're working on this summer? Take a look at these two schedules and find out for yourself. You'll be amazed!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
A thousand times thank you! Actually, make that ten thousand times. For the first time, Rocket City’s Adopt a Classroom program has generated over $10,000.00 – all of it heading straight from your hearts to Rocket City’s classrooms!
Your generosity and support of Rocket City is more than just gratifying. It’s changing classrooms – one tablet, one teaching aid at a time. Want to know more about how your efforts are impacting Rocket City? Enjoy a few more thank you notes below!
All RP princesses in grades K-4 are welcome to bring a special King (father, uncle, grandpa, guardian) to this special winter ball. Radium photo will be on hand to commemorate the occasion with a lovely photo, enjoy desserts and slushies, visit the crafts table, and dance the night away!
Time to test your Reeths-Puffer history! Did you know that our rocket inside of Rocket Stadium is a real rocket? Did you know that it was built in Germany and designed for space exploration? Well, now you do.
Welcome to our newest feature. Teacher Feature, to be exact. Reeths-Puffer senior Emily Bride has her sights set on a career in editing and publishing, so she is going back in time to talk with the teachers who played a role in her decision to follow this path. You will learn about Emily (and about life as a high school senior) along the way, and you will certainly learn about several of the wonderful teachers here in Rocket City. Fire up the time machine and let the journey begin!

Congratulations to the Reeths-Puffer Marching Band for their 1st place finish in Flight II at State Finals for 2015! Our band also took home awards for Best Music Performance, Best Visual Performance, and Best General Effect for their performance titled "Denali's Howl."
Reeths-Puffer has an amazing theater and music program. Anyone who has attended one of the spectacular shows at Rocket Center for the Performing Arts can substantiate this - whether it was the spring musical, the fall production, a Children's Theater Production or one of the countless concerts.
Blast Off Into Musical Theater, which runs November 20 and 21 this year, is a chance for Rockets in 3rd - 9th grade to meet, rehearse, and perform with students in the Reeths-Puffer High School theater program. It gives these young students an introduction to the world of theater and a chance to experience one of many different aspects of musical theater. RP's Blast Off Into Musical Theater program is modeled after the Young Americans' Workshop. Trent Klairter, Director of Theater for Reeths-Puffer Schools, has been offering the Blast Off Into Musical Theater annually for many years as a way to offer a theater experience to younger participants, and promote growth, self-confidence, and teamwork among these students.
Workshops offered include:
