Reeths-Puffer Intermediate School houses all the 5th and 6th grade students in the district. It's the only West Michigan school to send all of its 6th graders to visit a college campus and host a College Night. RPI provides a strong introduction to band and choir and offers private instruction, a synthesized keyboard lab, and some of the most decorated band instructors in the state. In addition to music there are more than 30 extra curricular opportunities for RPI students including: ski club, college leadership, Endurance Adventure, flag football, color guard, Girls on the Run and more. The Intermediate School is adjacent to Reeths-Puffer High School, which offers cooperative learning and sharing of facilities. The Meijer Trail located between the school and the North Muskegon Meijer store is a one-mile wooded loop and used for Girls on the Run, Endurance Adventure, 100 Mile Club and other events and races.
